Almost 20 years ago my brother-in-law pulled out a "real camera" to capture lasting memories of his kids on vacation. I borrowed it and found myself at the electronics store that same evening. It was for our children at first but it quickly grew to helping many others take photos and videos of birthdays and ballgames and theatre events. Along the way I came to appreciate the hidden grind in this craft, while working cameras, lights, stands, editing software, file sharing, social media, and more. I love that work because the return is terrific ... when you know you created and or captured memories for others to enjoy.
